Not that it has anything to do with the discussion, but the company in question went tits up because the money man behind it pulled out without warning. Nothing I or anyone else involved could do about it.

To chipper, you have shown your true colour's!!!. A regular customer goe's 2-3 time's a week, it's a £50 job and they ask for you, the controller give's you the job, and you have the front to tell me that's not feeding!!!

Try telling the other driver's that!!

You seem to think that I am giving the same driver's all the cream work, well I don't. Good driver's earn good money.

If a £100 job came in, and a muppett was next on plot and he could find it, he get's it.

Rambo your talking crap i work i dont need sat/nav but when i get a controller who passes out jobs on his mobile texting to drivers and gives bits of paper with jobs on it i cant compete with that. I no i can do the job no problem ive been in this trade over 10years both hac/and ph. But if i say something i wont get anywork why, because there on the unemployment so no one will open there mouth. So my view is no controller driver,s no mobile phones in office, and cctv in office, and no plates allowed outwith your area, we have got cars that are not glasgow plated on our rank only the bum chums though of the boss. I don't text jobs out or slip people bit's of paper, if a contoller is screwing driver's on purpose then that is a disgrace! The point i'm trying to make is that some driver's screw themselve's. The reason the bosse's don't care is all they think about is rent money.

I made a point earlier on this thread, I have driver's I can't stand on a personal basis but they earn good money because they do the job properly.

Controller's will alway's look after thier friend's, it's human nature, it's not fair but how can you stop it?.

I do not have any friend's at my office, but my dad work's here as a driver and I look after him, he is my dad afterall.

the owner has no choice but to add drivers without thinkin three times, and why should they train drivers, all that effort to see the bas'tard overcharge and leave?

Phd, customers alway's ask for your star driver? I think that prove's the point, not all driver's are equal.

As for being caught and humiliated, my guvnor know's the way I work and so do the driver's, as stated before, i'm only being honest.
