one of the lads approched me about starting it down here.
he is on 747474 at the present and he thinks he could get up to 50 including the indpendants.
see what happens. :wink:

go for it cgull its a great little money spinner here in warringtton though we do have minor hick ups now and then

the bit i cant grasph is how they work it right in a big city.
easy peasy in a small town.
but how to they know the first on the list driver isnt say 10 miles away? :?

The easy answer is, they don't.

They do offer a zoning system now, but I don't use it because it is not required here. The most important thing that is needed with "taxi-call" is drivers who are prepared to work together, rather than in competition with each other.

saw an article in taxi/privatehire monthly about taxi-call and it had comments from a fellla called james from lincoln in there iis that you jimbo?
