Thats very useful to know thanks GBC, but by looking at most of there posts it would still be fair to saty that even they are still not entirely sure, and theres a certain amount of B******T posted on that forum, however the 1 post that is very factual is that VOSA really are clamping down on the illegal operators and this can only be good news for the industry :lol:

I think we should appreciate they're 'Specials' as opposed to full time regular Police Officers.

One would hope a fully trained PC would have a better grasp of the law pertaining to Taxi legislation.

Interesting suggestion.

I don't know about the specials, but for the regulars I suspect I'm too old, too short, too unfit, too blind and too many aches and pains.

And probably too law abiding as well :lol:

And too thick. Or should that be clever?
