This was found in the Birmingham Post on Saturday. Anyone got any ideas which license regime they are talking about and in which licensing authority?

It was the early Sixties.

The Renault Dauphine being the first ones to carry the short lived adverts.
You can even buy a model Minicab nowadays. :shock:

March the 6th 1961, Minicabs began operating in London.

About 1987, 'Taxee boss'? became the favoured call. :wink:
