No doubt London Cabbies will be thinking if this vehicle is using bus lanes then it should be licensed and driven by a licensed cab driver. Otherwise by using it in a bus lane he is committing an offence.

London-based Khalid Bandar - grandson of the late King Fahd of Saudi Arabia - has come up with an ingenious way of keeping a low profile.

Tired of being driven around in a blacked-out Land Rover with a crew of heavies, the Oxford-educated Bandar has bought himself a black cab. The cab is chauffeur-driven, naturally, and has been decked out with bullet-proof glass and a plasma-screen television.

Whether he sails through London down bus lanes is unknown, but Bandar joins an exclusive group of celebrity black cab owners that includes Prince Philip and Stephen Fry.
