well guys that was a waste of time.me v 5 bas****s from the council.the enforcement officer(never said a word)thepolicy officer(mouthy bitch)the inspection garage mgr.(not a word)the council transport mgr.(arrogant(how dare u question our decision,u should be grateful u have a pro-active licensing dept.-wtf does that mean)and the councillor who heads the licensing committee(6mths in job-go with the flow)end result -your car does not meet the criteria-ie:48 inches across rear seat-of course not it's 2 seats-mpv-the rules are there!! these guys would rather outlaw the other 35 cars in the area than grant me a licence.looks like the sherriff court nextbut i can't fekin afford it.will let u know.luv and kisses

So why is it a case of some vehicles being subject to different rules to yourself?

And if the rules have been changed then why didn't you know about it when you bought your vehicle?

They said u should be grateful u have a pro-active licensing dept

Ask them how many unlicensed limousines they have taken enforcement action against, or how many 'chauffeur' or 'executive' operators they have targeted

The answer will be none. so much for 'pro-active' enforcement of the law
