GMB, why do you have to always lower the tone?, forget politics for once and support the service men and women.

A SOLDIER

I was that which others did not want to be.
I went where others feared to go,
and did what others failed to do.
I asked nothing from those who gave nothing,
and reluctantly accepted the thought of
eternal loneliness...should I fail.
I have seen the face of terror;
felt the stinging cold of fear;
and enjoyed the sweet taste of a moments love.
I have cried, pained, and hoped...but most of all,
I have lived times others would say were best forgotten.
At least someday I will be able to say that I was proud of
what I was...
A SOLDIER.

Polticians cause forget not the victims,nor the CRIMINAL politicians and their allies who caused it.Might surprise you MY grandfather was gassed in the trenches,premanent damage to lungs and eyes died realatively young,i watched him DIE.He cursed the people responsible for that war,and told me never forget,amongst those he cursed were that accursed family.

FFS, I asked you to try and keep politics out of this one.
You are a disgrace by lowering the tone of this thread.

Here I lie in no mans land
wounded but with gun in hand,
sweating profusely, not from heat, but total fear
I hope they get me out of here.

As I lie here listening to the moans and groans
right among this killing zone,
Calls for help, fall on death ears,
There's no one left to dry the tears.

I hope these few lines I have written has some meaning to some one
I also was in the forces served with the Kings own Scottish Borders

You really are a sorry little man, you think of no one but yourself, and have no respect for other people, and the fact that they might of lost family members and friends, you really are a disgrace.
