Well a few months ago you did say:

p.s. someone wanted to buy my plate - but I told them no thanks, you would cum in your pants if i told you how much plates cost my way......

I assumed that was at least worth £80k, however in August you did say:

n reg fairway 75k

t reg tx 1 85k

So couldn't you have just said £70k instead of being awkward?

As for the link between plate values and fares, surely it doesn't take a Nobel laureate to work out that if your fares were lower then your plates would be worth less, and vice versa.

oxford ranks 133rd in the PHM fare tables, thier are lots of deregulated councils above it, as well as regulated ones, whose supposed plate value is lower, so your amateur linkage between fares and plate values doesnt make any real sense.

Well why doesn't that surprise me?

OK, so it doesn't take a nobel laureate, but a bit of basic economics or even just common sense.

Nuff said.

But why are plates premiums so high in your manor?

Are drivers just a little bit thick? :?

I would say that it is because people like you fight so hard to get one Sussex.
I would add that it is because of people like you fighting so hard to get one, the thick are lead to believe that they are actually worth it.

I would finish by stating that the thick drivers are not those selling for massively high prices but those who believe you that the potential earnings are so high and seek to buy one.
Most of all the thick ones are those that spread rumours and gossip about something they no nothing about, as they haven't been able to convince their own councils to allow them to see first hand that deregulation is not the bed of roses they thought, and then return to the PH sector leaving absolute mayhem in their wake.

i think GA has hit on the head - they are a bit thick, and they belive that deregulation is never going to come, some bozo's have paid absurd money for thier plated recently, i think it will take them at least three to five years to make thier money back and start making a profit

Again the plate values have nothing to do with the fares, its just fear and loathing, people wanting what you or i may have

So what's the missing words here?

I suggest 'been' between 'has' and 'hit'.

So if a three to five year planned de-limit was put in place, then no-one loses?

Not my ideal plan, I say f*** them.
