Telephone Numbers for Taxis - Make sure your Number is Noticed and Remembered.

We are a licensed Telecoms company and currently have over 2.3 Million UK Town Telephone Numbers available that cover 230 of the largest Towns in the UK.

We have selected the very best ‘Memorable’ Numbers for each Town which are particularly useful for Taxi Companies.

The Numbers are all to be sold on a 'First Come - First Served' basis, the Connection Charge for each Number is just £395 + VAT, there is no Monthly or Yearly Service charge and Call Charges are just 1.5 Pence per Minute.

The number will remain yours for life and they are not tied to a Local exchange, so if you move offices we simply divert the number to your new landline number.

All of our customers receive Login details to the Novero Platform, our Online Control Panel which provides Number Management, Call Statistics and Online Billing.

To view the available UK Town Numbers please go to; http://www.ttnc.co.uk/numbers/taxi.do

Thank you for your attention.

Kind regards,
Mark Burcher

Hello,

That's a shame, we do have the remaining Area Codes in the UK coming live at the end of February next year, maybe we can help you then.

Kind regards
Mark

I'm sorry that we do not cover your area right now, the rest of the Numbers for the UK will be live in February next year.

We decided to release Numbers for 200 of the most populated Towns in the UK before any other Towns, mainly because we are dealing with a high volume of Numbers and also to increase our Sales opportunities.

If you let me know your Area then I can tell you what our Number Range is for that Area Code, you can reserve a Number if you wish.

If anyone else wants a Number for an Area that is not listed on our Web site, then please contact us and we can send you a list of Numbers we will be releasing in February next year, we will require a small deposit of £50 per Number.

£300+ for a number????? If you ask BT nice they'll give you a nice number for nothing when you connect, my mate has 750 750 it cost him nothing, another lad has 22222 and the best one 654321 all with BT and all for free, I think you are trying to rip us off here mate.

How many pizza and kebab shops have you been in touch with offering services like this??

Hello Nigel,

Sorry that you feel that way.

To give you an idea of Memorable Number pricing, BT's standard pricing for the highest level of a Memorable Non Geographic Number is £3,000 for the connection, then £10 per month, so we are certainly not ripping anyone off when you compare our prices.

Another one of our competitors charges double the amount we do and then a monthly charge for their UK Town Numbers.

Not all of our UK Town Numbers are priced at £395 - these are just the very best of our numbers, we have 6 different levels of Numbers, a Standard UK Town Number cost just £25 + VAT.

You can search for all of the levels here; http://www.ttnc.co.uk/order/search.do

Some other things to bear in mind with our service are;

1. Our Numbers are not tied to an Exchange, so you are guaranteed to always be able to use the number wherever you move to.

2. We provide a Web based Control Panel so you can manage the routing (diverting or pointing) of your Number for Free.

3. You can use our Numbers to Terminate Call Traffic to a SIP or IAX Destination - in other words a VoIP PBX or Standard PBX for Free

4. There is no line rental to pay

5. There is No Service Charge to pay - just a once off connection charge.

6. We provide advanced Call Statistics online for Free

7. We provide Intelligent Call Routing services like Hunt Groups and Time of Day routing for Free

I hope you can now see we there is no rip off, just a good opportunity.

Kind regards
Mark

companies like this make it difficult for new businesses to get a start. if you ring BT and ask, they'll do it for free. but no doubt you'd have got them all for free from BT by then and we'll have no choice but to pay for a number.

no better than those companies that register all the domain names, in that hope it will force someone to buying the one they would like.

Hello Steveo,

I know what you mean about those domain name companies - we are actually being held to ransom right now by one such company!

There is some confusion over what we are actually offering I think.

We don't 'register' the numbers with BT. Ofcom (the UK's telecom's regulator) issues us with blocks of 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000 number ranges. We are an operator like BT - who also get their Numbers from Ofcom - as does every Operator in the UK - so there is no such market in Numbers like there is in Domains.

The bottom line here (excuse the pun!) is that we are offering thousands of high quality numbers and advanced call services, unlike BT, our Numbers can be activated and controlled instantly and have no line rental charges attached - and they are not location dependant.

Traditionally, other operators other than BT have only been able to offer Free-Phone and 08 Numbers, since deregulation we are now allowed to be allocated UK Town numbers by Ofcom and operate them, this is seen as a positive move as the consumer has more choice.

Anyway, it is all down personal choice, and thousands of customers in the UK and abroad use our Numbers and are I daresay are a lot more happy with our service than with BT's!

Kind regards
Mark

Taxi Call are doing good deals at the moment one number came into our town via Taxicall his number is 85 86 87, it cost him £12 per month to set up then another £12 a month for each driver he adds to the circuit. Now that's good deal.

That type of service has it's uses for sure, Taxi Talk buy their Numbers from Operators such as TTNC and then resell them to use for these types of services.

Benefits of buying numbers directly through an operator such as TTNC are;

There is a Once-Off Connection charge for a Number - not a monthly charge
TTNC's Numbers are not shared, so you get 100% of the inbound calls
TTNC's Call Diversion Charges to Mobiles are about 25% lower than similar services
TTNC own their Number Ranges and Telecoms equipment so can offer more types of Call Services

It's all down to personal choice and needs, some people will find TTNC's service preferable - and some wont - and some people will buy TTNC's services, package them up and resell them, they will double their money within a few months and make a handsome profit for ever more!

Now if you where to offer free divert to mobiles you might get some where, but as you still have to go through BT to get this service you have no chance
Its about time BT stopped charging for this service as most call from a mobile but if yours is a land line number diverted you still have to pay, and is now becoming a rip off

When operators divert to a mobile number, the mobile operator sets termination rates, so the operator diverting the calls to a mobile number get charged and have no choice in the matter. BT and some others do put a rather 'large mark-up' on these costs - but there are other operators that don't.

It is possible to get free divert to mobiles on Personal Number ranges beginning with 070, the one drawback is that the callers operator will charge them 32 pence per minute to 50 pence per minute, which is more than calling a landline or mobile number directly.

Generally, the cheapest type of call is to a standard UK Town Number, and that is why TTNC is offering Memorable Town Numbers.

One major thing to remember about using TTNC's Numbers is that there is no Line Rental and the Number is not tied to an Exchange or any physical location - it simply diverts to a Landline or Mobile Number - if you divert to a mobile using a TTNC Number then you will save money compared to using BT.

Some drivers may not have a Landline number at all and only use a Mobile, this is when one of TTNC's UK Town Numbers is particularly useful. If you try getting a Memorable (or standard) UK Town Number from BT without Line Rental - you wont be able to as they don't offer this type of Service.
