there could be an answer to all the diverted calls and that is have a Sim with your land line phone number on it, as I think all mobile numbers have 11 numbers and all land lines have the same if you use the dialing code in front, so all the caller does is dial the area code then the number and hey presto they are through to you.
there must be a reason why we cannot have it that way, but I cannot think of one that's stopping it happening, only the greed of BT
then the only thing you pay for is your mobile line rental, mines only £10 per month
I wonder what ofcom would do if there was enough complaints demanding this

Not sure where the 80% cheaper comes from as TTNC provides 0800 Numbers for just a Once-Charge of £25 - there are no monthly charges to pay - ever!

TTNC's call charges are also billed per second with no minimum call charge and no call connection charge.

Standard numbers should not be confused with the UK Town 'Taxi' Numbers that TTNC is offering, these Numbers are Memorable Numbers and very hard to come by - they are not standard numbers.

Also - beware of hidden charges from Telecom Plus and other Resellers out there, this is from the Telecom Plus web site;
-
''Each call routing option is subject to a £100 connection charge* and a £50 quarterly rental charge.

*Customers may make one change per plan each calendar month free of charge. Any changes thereafter will be charged at £100 each.''
-

This means if you got a Number from Telecom Plus and wanted a 'Divert Busy' plan, then changed it once a week, you would end up paying a £100 connection charge for the plan, then £200 per year and then £3600 to change the plan 4 times a month over a year!!

This is an extremely expensive option when you compare to TTNC's offering (or most other operators), TTNC provides unlimited changes to Call Routing Options and there is no charge to set up any type of Call Routing Option - ever.

TTNC is a Licensed PECN operator that owns and operates its own network and numbers - TTNC is not a reseller and therefore can do much better deals compared to resellers and 'virtual' telecom companies.

Hi there,

It sounds like you are paying for Inbound Free-Phone Minutes to your landline number - and then you are paying BT to divert the free-phone calls to a mobile - and then also paying BT for line rental....

Also, you do not have any of the Intelligent Call Routing features TTNC is offering for free.

This is not a comparable service to TTNC's.

Hi - TTNC resellers get paid call share revenue or commission or call charges for as long as the service is live, plus commission on a number sales.
