KO. I don't think so, London seems to be a dark and gloomy place, a terrible place to live, it's much nicer by the sea, my biggest problem at the moment is whether to go on holiday for one month or two .

I take it you believe the country would be better off without the police?

I dont subscribe to that theory, the police for all of their inadequaces do an extremely difficult, but worthwhile job.

Sometimes no answer or reply is a statement in itself, did all the guys mentioned get on their keyboards straight away and slag you off Nooooooooooooo, just remember no matter which section or profession in life you will find corruption exists, but not totally as you get some that do the job for the right reasons.

Where it does exist is mainly in the higher echelons of society "the untouchables" not so much in the lower ranks, but you do get it their as well. I have personally come across it in a council meeting " all different parties, but they will hold hands".

Having said that! a pound to a pinch of salt, if something criminal happened to your family you would call the police. Regardless of the bad apples out there,there are some good and one thing is that we do need law and order.

But one thing I am sure enough of "right or wrong" whatever the cause is you cannot and should not fight a war or battle with one hand behind your back. The dirty tricks brigade operated on both sides! that unfortunately is war.

But! in reality you do not, Remember they covet your vote - and when gotten you are tossed in to the bin, because they do not need you any longer.

A True Story

I, and a number of other Taxi Driver's were in court as witness to a road traffic incident, involving, a Taxi owner. He was not, shall we say, entirely falsely accused, but the opposition were lying as well - Cops and traffic wardens.

When going through our statements with the criminal lawyer, while making sure we had our stories straight. One of the witnesses said. ' I was just going to tell the truth', the lawyer replied, while looking through his half-moon specks, ' This is a court of law son, no one tells the truth in here'.

The Taxi owner stood to lose everything had the case went against him, needless to say the decision went in his favour.
