Not sure about leader, but I want a free plate for everyone that's licensed and wants one.

In some ways I hope you get it , I am sure bankruptcy will suit you. and I am sure you know all of your rights when claiming benefit.

What do you call excessive long hours?

Is that directed at me? lol.

So do we get an answer to your appraisal of long hours or are you leaving us to guess?

18 hours 6 days a week.

In Gateshead we have lads out on the ranks doing a job every 90 minutes (on average) through the week ............. weekends are better but only when the nightclubs kick out.

I went to a PH operator who thought I was being unreasonable not being happy TAKING £10 per hour over a weekend backshift, the data was handed in on the Monday.

The real problem with the dereg argument offered by this site is no-one knows the motivation of those calling for dereg ................. they could possibly be the same people that are claiming drivers earnings of £1000 a week to potential drivers in Eastern Europe ............. and that possibly explains why they want to have HC licensed anywhere able to work under PH contracts anywhere else.

This plot thickens.

Well we certainly know your own motivation for your arguments.

And if you bothered to read TDO's arguments over the years then you would realise what drivel your argument is.

But of course misrepresentation and out of context points is your stock-in-trade.

Come along then Dusty ................. explain my motivation ............. explain whats in it for me personally .................. come on Dusty how up to date are you ................... I doubt you can get even close.

Explain to me why what I suggest is not correct ............. explain to me why your greed for free plates is any different than the greed of plateholders to maintain premiums.

Explain to me why you believe that no-one should offer an opposing viewpoint to your own .................. and fight as hard as you do for what they believe in.

Alternatively do what you always do and post under your other usernames in an attempt to deflect attention from you answering the questions raised.

The only reason a plate has a premium is because they are restricted, f*** all to do with ranks and building up a trade.

Don't you think that happens in the other 72% of areas? ](*,)

Plates have a value because people want them in restricted areas and they are willing to pay to have one.

After all how many plates would be sold if no-one could see value in owning one .................... and whether you like it or not Sussex your 10 year battle to get a free plate has confirmed to some the value of them.

Just ask Skull .................. who doesn't mind paying to get something he specifically wants.

B. Lucky :D

What part of plates don't have any intrinsic value don't you understand.

Why would a plink want to pay 50 big ones for something with no intrinsic value.

Rather than playing fast and loose with taxi plates, why don't you get your jollies from Monolpoly? At least you won't lose 50 grand when the council wises up to what's going down. Illegally I would add.

Mr Jasbar could you list the local authorities where plate values are over £20k?

Mr Jasbar could you list the plateholders in each area who got their plates for free?

You just cannot accept the fact that someone else has something you want .................... but you aren't prepared to work to get it ............... I bet your local Rolls Royce Garage is sick of you demanding a Roller just because someone else has one.

Well in fact you've got a point there - I think you just argue with TDO for the sake of it, and there's also a hint of vindictiveness there as well, since I don't think you're used to people disagreeing with you and demonstrating the vacuity of a lot of what you say.

A bit like Wayne Casey in fact, one minute he's for, the next he's against, and never any proper explanation for his volte-face.

Same with the likes of the GMB - making one noise in one area and the opposite noise in the other. What's that all about? Membership figures? Certainly no evidence of principle and consistency.

For the squillionth time, I've got a free plate, and I've no objection to anyone getting one on similar terms because I believe in equality and not exploitation, so that answers your other point.

Absolutely no objection to debate, and you should know that by now. It's misrepresentation, artifice and dishonesty that I object to - you should get your facts straght before posting.

More drivel :D

What other username?

I've answered any valid points you've raised for years, together with many invalid ones.

Sorry, but I can't do any more than that and can't waste hours addressing every piece of nonsense you post.

Sorry .......................... did you answer the question Dusty ................ I'll start you off if you like.

The reason GA wants to protect premiums is that he ...............................................................................................................................

I think it's a little bit silly calling people who want equality for all licensed drivers greedy. :?
