Police issue appeal after woman, 19, is assaulted
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man indecently assaulted a 19-year-old woman in Lipson Road.
The man pushed the woman to the ground next to Freedom Fields Park. Police are hunting for witnesses - particularly a taxi driver who gave both the man and woman a lift from the city centre to Mount Gould.
The incident happened at about 4am on May 6.
The woman was picked up from the Skiving Scholar pub, in Tavistock Place, by a taxi she shared with an "Indian looking" man police would like to identify, who she described as about 5ft 8ins, with a slim to medium build and in his late 20s. He was wearing no trousers and a long-sleeved brown or gold shirt with vertical stripes.
