I don't know about red routes in London etc, but bus lanes outside of London that stipulate "Taxis" means any taxi, no matter where you are licensed.

Well Sussex my car is a taxi not PH and has a roof sign so maybe that's why they have never bothered :wink:

If the signs for congestion charge just say taxi. How can they enforce on an out of district taxi. At the end of the day a taxi is a taxi.

As far as I'm aware the PCO send a list of all the licensed cabs and PH in London to the CC folks. :sad:
