Rank to open during day
Shoppers will soon be able park up in a Neath town centre taxi rank - during the day time at least.
Drivers will be allowed to leave their cars in the rank on The Parade for up to an hour between 8am and 6pm.
For the rest of the time, only taxis will be able to pull up there.
The Neath Port Talbot Council scheme is aimed at helping to improve the town's well-documented parking problems.
Head of highways John Flower said: "It is envisaged the proposals will provide short-term parking for shoppers and visitors to the town."
