it gets me how enthosiastic workers or owners of businesses dont get ill like workers we must have different genetic make up ???? or are we tuffer people
They must have made them different in the dark ages.

Or maybe the better staff are working for employers with a better attitude. If you pay peanuts, don't be surprised if you get monkeys

you are either suggesting i may not be a good employer and that i may also pay peanuts !!
or are you suggesting that the less capable staf become more prown to sickness
I don't need to suggest anything, but if the cap fits wear it.
I am saying that the best staff go where the pay and conditions are best.
Why work for someone who pays minimum wage, no sick pay and no holidays if you can get a job elsewhere? If your rant about stress is typical of your attitude towards employees then your man management skills defo need some work.
Many people suffer from stress, not just employees. It happens to the self employed, people who run businesses both large and small, as well as those who don't work.
It is not a matter of toughness or lazyness as you seem to think.
If you want enthusiastic and motivated staff, you could try giving them a reason to feel enthusiastic and motivated.
Work or get fired is a poor substitute.
you speak like a man that has much experience in running a large business so i will bow to your recomendations
