Taxi driver punched as cash is stolen
A TAXI driver was punched repeatedly in the face after stopping to collect a fare.
He went to Haseley Close, Leamington, where a woman had ordered a taxi, at 5.30am on Saturday.
But after picking her up she got out of the vehicle saying that she needed to get her sister.
Two men then approached the driver and hit him in the face three or four times.
They stole a cash bag from the taxi and ran off.
