Come on mate, you of all people know better than to believe that rubbish. Some bird gets stuck in a bit of traffic, so the whole trade has had a 60% pay rise. :roll:

No one told me about any fare increase effective last Friday. Am I supposed to get my meter changed???????

It's an occupational hazard Bart when you're part of a trade which has thousands of green eyes looking in, all wishing a part of the lucrative London passenger transport market. :D

Ok clearly it wasn't 60%, and I might have been a tad naughty believing a word of the standard, but the night tariff did increase by at least 25%.

And that increase only happened cos Red Ken said it would in his first manifesto.

So back to the point of the thread, Red Ken might not be a hero but at least he kept his word to the black cab trade.

Even if he did bugger up with the turning circle issue. :sad:
