I remember when I worked in ComCab. A guy wanted me to sign a petition to stop the brownnosers naming and shaming people in their rag- fine this, fine that, you know the story.

I replied: "I don't read their news letter" he looked totally perplexed. He then reiterated his statement about "naming and shaming". I told him, if he ignored them they weren't naming and shaming him they were only using his name - best forgotten about.

I ended up singing his petition because he couldn't see the argument. I didn't want to be there all night explaining the concept. :lol:

Skull, I am interested - when you get a free plate and sell it for 50,000 pounds, as this is what is classed as unearned income, do you pay tax at the rate of 40% or is the 50,000 combined with the years earnings? Does this take you into VAT and tax at 40%? :roll:
