GBC has ordered his E7 already :D

I think he will get the turning circle removed and let the owners decide what cabs they want :D

E7 GBC is available from premier registrations.

Me thinks London may have a very different future

B. Lucky :D

..1. Scrap the midyear inspections which add to the cost of the licence, and are an unnecessary burden on cab drivers.

2. Scrap PCO Notice 44/06 which penalises cab drivers for stopping at red routes to allow passengers to use cashpoints and WCs.

3. Work with local councils to make rules on using bus lanes the same across London.

4. Give a representative of the taxi trade a place on the TfL Board.

5. Keep a distinct separation between black cabs and minicabs.

Boris said:

"London's taxi drivers are an institution and work hard to earn the right to drive on our Capital's streets. I do not believe in trying to wreck their trade in the way that Mayor Livingstone has been doing over the last eight years. I want to ensure London's taxi drivers can get on with their job of helping Londoners get around town."
Who did he say that to? Oddy?

One things for certain, your old mucker TF will have to have a very different approach at the TFL trade meetings. :D

Yesterday's terrorist is today's leader.

Ariel Sharon. Nelson Mandela. The Skull.

BTW I hear the Evening Standard is going to be investigated for the billboard ads it ran against Red Ken.

Seems the complainants have some curious notion that newspapers are supposed to report news, not make it. That they are somehow supposed to be relatively neutral and only publish balanced journalism. That they exist to protect public interest, not control it.

Oh dear. Such quaint beliefs.

Boris will spend the next 4 years trotting out every piece of shady dealing and doggyness his people can find.
Let's hope Ken has nothing to hide.

He may well be, but he'll be half as smug and less militant than the Mk. 1 version that's just been given his marching orders.

He won't. He'll want to do as much damage as he can. Especially to us.

Let's not forget that he will only represent the system. Just like Redders did.

It doesn't matter who holds the office, the system will prevail. And it is designed to keep the scrotes down. And, let's face it, the system considers us to be scrotes.

I'll warrant that in double quick time you won't even recognise the difference.

It's a quant notion to think that BoJo will represent the million plus who voted for him. BoJo will represent system, his political party and then himself first - probably in that order because he can't protect himself outwith subservience to the machine that allows him to be there.

He has to go to Government for funding and they want him to fail. Could be messy.

So Sandy, you didn't understand my post. Or you didn't read it?

What will it take for you to realise that they are all on the same side.

If you doubt this, then just consider how Blair and Brown have out-toried the tories.

Two of a kind. Two cheeks of the same backside. Two peas in a pod.

The Central government system protectors won't allow Boris to fail overmuch. Just as they didn't interfere when Redders went against the Labour government, and Frankie Dobbers, to get elected in the first place.

It's the system Sandy. Just the system. A kind of Matrix if you like.

Of course I read your post, and understood it, you very clever man. I love to read re-hashed George Galloway comments. Nothing new .

Not so clever Sandy. Else you would have recognised Noam Chomsky's influence.
