You might well question my suspicions I would too but I never wrote this so it's best you ignore the comment

Ok I'll explain it slowly. Whilst I was a little worse for wear I logged into TDO for a browse. I then decided to hit the sack so I went to my room and left another person looking on TDO. They posted the comment along with several other comments whilst still logged into my avatar. I hope this explains things for you. Just ignore the comment :D

If you go to the show steer clear of the Excell Stand, they'll fill you full of bull crap telling you their system is the poodles noodles, in a nut shell it's not... infact it's far from it.

I'll back that up

Going back to the Autocab, we got a quote off them for a 55 car setup and for the money they quoted we could get the Cordic system we are running twice over.

Also they told us why would you want TomTom, apparantly their static maps are more useful to the drivers on their data terminals, cant remember which one they mentioned. what help would that be its like pulling out your A-Z.

TomTom is the way forward when drivers dont have a clue which direction to head to at least it gets them close.

Cordic like Excel are a bag of brown stuff. No company that runs on a PDA system can say that their system is better than a data system, it might look pretty with all the colours but it can't do the job simple as that.

As for Tom Tom, well it's just overpriced crap. You can get better Sat Nav systems for much less money.

Several years back I used to say the same Nige but technology’s moved on considerably and now I don’t have any problems in recommending PDAs to those that want them, even though we’ve made our living from manufacturing data units. It’s much the same with TomTom, drivers expect it and some even struggle to work without it.

We give our customers the choice by allowing them to use PDAs on the same system as their normal data and it generally doesn’t take long before they all want the PDA’s. In the last couple of years just over 50% of our customers have moved to PDA and to my knowledge I don’t know of a single company that thinks it was the wrong move.

Fair enough Bill, I've worked with Data for years and the PDA system for the last 3 years and IMO Data p!sses all over the PDA system by miilion miles.
