Might be funny actually they are nowhere near good enough so might be interesting to see if they could reach 10 points in the Premier league

Yes, the same was said in the 70s when they were promoted by the skin of their teeth. They won the title and league cup that year, the European cup and league cup the next year and the European cup the year after. Not bad for a team that wasn't good enough eh?

In this day and age it is a lot different to compete for European places usually takes very deep pockets and a lot of hard work to build a good enough squad I would be surprised if any of the promoted teams this season survive unless they spend big in the summer

How much are you prepared to stake on this bet?

I have been saying exactly the same all year. Cardiff are thinking of spending 20/25 million, on the surface a lot of money, until you hear the big boys are going to spend money like that on a back up player. I feel that it is a big possibility of all three coming back down, if not then two out of the three.

Having said that the Swans and Norwich have managed it, by playing proper silky football, with limited resources. We have a good manager, I can only hope that he changes his style/tactics to suit the premiership, as I am given to understand a lot of the football to date has been dire. Having said that, if that is what it takes to get them out of the championship then I am all for it - they now have to step up to the plate.

Come on then give me a figure and I might take you up on your bet. I am pretty confident that he will still be the manager at the start of next season.

I'm not so sure about that I suspect there are very few clubs left willing to gamble on his loyalty so as long as he is allowed to splash the cash and get his own players in he'll be there at the start but maybe not the finish if it doesn't work out
