Peter Faulkner I didn’t make any money on that particular run, taking into account distanced travelled to pick up then a short trip. Thankfully it’s not the norm , but I believe a minimum £5 should be in place.

Someone ought to remind these numpties how much the minimum wage is. £2-something amounts to about 20 minutes work, less running expenses.

Why do drivers keep working just to lose money? They haven't actually earnt anything.

I'm glad I'm out of the PH business now.

One of the bus drivers I used to work with told us he was packing up bus driving to work for uber in London. Must be daft we all said, money's better here.

Someone then brought in a newspaper cutting a couple of months later. He'd been jailed for 4 years for a mortgage fraud. He was doing some dogy deal selling houses that weren't his, the money was going to an account in Pakistan. they haven't got any of the money back.

And hey ho, he's out driving buses again!

Two years in an open nick. Fraudsters aren't usually locked up in the mainstream jails.
