As expected, we're tier 2. However, I can see tier 1 and all my mates going to the pub from our bedroom window!!!

Do they have pubs on the Isle of wight I thought it was sheep and Yacht clubs and not much else?

Love the place.

Like living in the 50/60s but lovely place to have a break.

Even if you have to pay for the dearest ferry ride in the world (per mile).

briefly visited the island in the 70's but in my case the ferry ride was included in my ticket

So the end of lockdown next week and the start of tier 3 BUT of course we are on the border with 3 other counties which are tier 2.

My drivers are hoping for a bonanza of people wanting to travel to the dozen or so pubs that can open situated within 5 miles of us and maybe a rash of people heading to Oakham at the weekend to do the same. I am not so sure though because Tier 2 is only drinks with meals and I am not so sure that will generate much work for us as in those situations the vast majority have someone in their party staying sober and driving but we'll see [-o<

Think Mr T is in 3 but most of the country, bar a few cows and sheep, are in 4.

That said nobody has told the amount of cars on the road that.

But you had people from t4 Peterborough to your t3 Stamford. There were plenty of people from t3 Melton having meals out in t2 Oakham.

Didn't seem to happen from Stamford even the crown at Casterton was refusing bookings from addresses in Stamford

It's academic now because we are all in tier 5 !

Where do you get tier 5 from? There were only 4 tiers but we are now in "lockdown". It was mentioned that we have moved up to ALERT level 5 on the original alert system.

See the ONS just announced that 1 in 50 people living in private residences had covid between 27th Dec and 2nd of Jan.

That is one hell of a lot of people, and maybe herd immunity might sort this before the vaccine.
