He's not even a real taxi driver.....more like someone who's determined in creating a "free for all playing field".

And your idea of a 'real' taxi driver is someone with a £100k plate in Oxford - or preferably more - sitting on their backside while their serfs keep them in the style they're accustomed to. [-X

And your other problem is that you have insufficient understanding to realise that I know how the trade works too well NOT to be a driver. :D

By the way, and more relevant to the current thread, as I recall it around half of Liverpool's HCs aren't driven by the owner. [-(

No but it might as well be. There's bugger all to cheer about these days.
It was the last time a Scottish team won a European trophy.

Look on the bright side you live in lovely place (once you get outside the grey bit) and it's miles from England

well at least we know that you are not a driver, i think you will find even the simple serfs are worried that their future looks bleak when the market gets flooded, and their takings plummet, meanwhile people like you will be commending them selves on creating "a level playing field", never mind the consequences.

read his line, he says it himself, he knows the trade too well not to be a driver, he even emphasises the not...

anyway given my relative lack of understanding of the trade, you guys who scream deregulation, level playing fields etc are going to regret it big time chum

Suggest you read it again then. That's not what I read from it at all.
Maybe you just saw what you wanted to see, a very common trait in this trade.

Because he belongs to the 'if I repeat a lie enough times it might be true' gang.

A bit sad really.
