The 'edit' button is not on view, so you can't edit posts.

I hit what I thought was the 'edit' button, which turned out to be the 'quote' button & quoted myself.

Weren't you preaching the virtues of the preview button recently?

Looks like I'll have to start using it

It's currently out of action, maybe it will return soon.

If there is anything which changes the thrust of any post you make, then I will gladly change it.

What's the 'preview' button got to do with the 'edit' button?

The post was good; I only wanted to correct a spelling mistake.

Er, if you'd used the preview function you might have noticed the spelling mistake

I don't think anyone notices the odd spelling mistake, but your misuse of the ampersand stands out like a sore thumb

Why do you believe it is misused the & & why should I not use it & what is wrong with using & instead of and?

& I don't think there is anything wrong with using &!!

& in what piece of professional writing would you see it used like that? Or unprofessional writing come to that?

By the standards of the internet it ain't a big deal, but in your case it spoils an otherwise high standard IMO, and it surely doesn't achieve much from your perspective - I can almost type and as quickly as finding the shift key and the ampersand, but I suppose you're used to it by now.

Having looked up the 'and per se and' (as it was first know), which then became the ampersand, I take your point.

And I never expected such a compliment from you, so what do YOU want?

I think someone is going to hang themselves in the near future hence why the edit button has been taken off.
