Post subject:  So whose replacing Corbyn

Caught a bit on the news with Corbyn "congratulating" the PM on his victory boy did his voice sound choked and feeble

He's clearly in shock that the people of Britain didn't want to pay an extra 16p a litre on diesel and petrol to subsidise rail fares or an extra chunk of income tax to give all those doctors and nurses a massive pay rise

So he won't resign but there will be a contest for his job once the executive sack him; but are there enough non hard lefties remaining in the party to replace him with someone less extreme

I haven't a clue as to who will be the next Labour leader, although I would prefer Corbyn to stay.

That said can't see anything other than a lefty being voted in by the nutty lefty membership.

Indeed.

The bit I'm looking forward to is their policy on Brexit.

Will they still oppose Boris and will they lobby for membership of the EU in 2024?

Rebecca wrong-Daily.

Tories are in government for the next ten years, at least.

Labour record five defeats on the spin!

Go Boris!

Try 20 years, Labour is finished, they've been destroyed, they are now called the "protest party." I can't help but laugh.

But without them, and the commie King, we wouldn't have the government we do, with the majority it has.

I suspect the MPs will vote for Starmer, the membership for Nandy, Philips and RLB.

None of them will get the better of Boris. Only Boris will f*** up Boris.

We really need TT to have input on this thread.

Whoever his selection is will, if successful, drive the Labour Party even further down.
