So this MP resigns as Shadow something or other, and many are saying this is what Cummings should have done.

But she still has her MP job, in the same way as Cummings has his advisors job.

So if this MP really wanted to do what she and her Labour colleagues wanted Cummings to do, she should stand down from her job and call a local election.

But I bet she doesn't.
