I’ve seen their Used to be a plate value Data on this forum but hasn’t been updated in many years Also many councils have now no Limit.
But the councils who do have a limit what are their Values?

I’ll start off with Mk

Saloon £20k
WAV £1-5k

Would be grateful if anyone knows or works in a Limited area to share Current Plated Values?

I think the whole plate value issue has been thrown up in the air by the likes of Uber, so values that once were are no more. In fact a number of restricted councils have plates available.

Part of the problem, although I don't personally view it as a problem, is that many prospective hackney journeymen have decided their future is working on app companies. Thus the return an owner gets from a restricted hackney has been dramatically affected. Especially if they are a non-driving owner.

Plate values in Liverpool were £50,000 ish, my understanding is they are around £10,000. Of course the massive cost of a new large WAV plays a part in that.

In Brighton and Hove a saloon plate was £50-60,000, now about £15,000.

I suppose you could look at the last proper list from about 10 years ago and reduce every value by 80%.
