Ours was OK for the first day until the base ops were given free reign to do what they want with it.

Funnily enough ours wasn't too bad for the first month either (although full of bugs), but the more 'tweaking' that's done the worse it gets.
I think it runs reasonably well until the ops take it off auto and start trying to manually dispatch jobs - all they're concerned about is getting jobs off the screen when busy.

Another new 'feature'.
Driving along, not loaded, happened to look at the screen and there's a new job displayed. No beep, no accept/decline, hadn't touched the screen or done anything - it just appeared from nowhere !
A while later, parked up empty waiting for a job and after a few minutes the office calls and asks if I'm doing that job, what job I asked and looking at the screen another had appeared without any notification or interaction. I was reading the paper and apparently the job was sent 10 minutes earlier !

The office hadn't sent the jobs manually or designated, just entered them into the system as they normally do and let it do it's own thing.

The apps great...NOT
Doesn't show available cars on the map unless you zoom all the way in then wait a few seconds,
A lot of addresses are missing, you have to scroll and zoom to select on the map rather than just type pickup and dropoff,
Won't let you book via the app if it's busy - tried using ours on Sat night (rare night off), said the wait was 99 minutes and when I tried placing a booking said I couldn't as that area was fully booked for 4 hours !!

Phoned the old fashioned way, told there's cars in the area and one turned up less than three minutes later. Asked the driver how busy it is 'not mad busy but steady' ! :? Got him to look at the plotting screen and there were 5 cars available in the area, despite the app saying fully booked for 4 hours and a wait of 99 minutes !!

More issues for icabbi tonight.
Job dispatching and driver plotting now working.
At least they eventually sent everyone a message saying they were working on it.
This system is better than Mercury but what system isn't?

I'm going to be battered for saying this but I'd sooner have Mercury.

After working with 4 different systems, I must say Cordic has still remained the best one.
