A guy round here has had a car on order from Cab Direct since before Christmas, when he phoned them up to order it they told him it was good to go and was a result of an over order. They gave him two delivery dates in December then one for the beginning of January, one for last week and one for today.

They phoned him up this morning with the latest excuse that a notification light was illuminated on the dash.

It was booked in for a council test this afternoon for the 4th time, he's had to cancel the council test again because of Cab Directs ineptness.

How do they keep going when they're letting people down.

I got an Auris from them 8 months ago, no problems whatsoever. The whole process was astonishingly quite simple.
(They did forget the extra key I ordered and left out the tyre inflation gunk and compressor cos I paid for a full size spare, but once I told them it was all couriered a couple of days later).

Maybe I was lucky but I'd use them again. :D

That's what I said to him, he looked at me and said "hum." They told him they don't deliver Saturdays but are going to deliver this Saturday. #-o #-o #-o

just had a loan over 36 months £7500 cash, £8000 to repay, £222 a month 4.4% interest, and not tied to a car, can pay extras and reduce term of loan, far better than car HP

I bought my Tourneo from them cheaper than cabs direct but had delivery problems which were down to Ford. These cars are not kept by the people selling them but are in a secure compound and as such are relying on the people running them which is sometimes a problem

they sell using bulk discounts, my Skoda came from Rainsworth, he sells a few 1000, gets a discount, makes a bit, organises finance, makes a bit.....

Cough, yeah it arrived on Saturday, he was taking it down to get the stickers put on yesterday and the engine management light came on and went into limp mode.

It's in the Peugeot dealership in Mansfield at the moment. It's in for it's council test on Wednesday, "if it's fixed."

The dealer principle said, "we hate these conversions from Allied."

They all use dealerships, The Taxi Centre use Rainworth Skoda like cabs4less, Cab Direct use dealerships, they make people think they have the vehicle in stock when people phone up.
