We have just received our new ESSO fuel cards. The price is guaranteed to be 3 pence below the national fuel price for 12 months. The price given today is 138.99 per ltr of diesel. The price at the pump at our ESSO forecourt today is 146.9 per litre. That means a saving of around £50 per week to us.

How long is the interest free period on the card??

There is no interest free period. It is not a credit card. The week starts on a Monday and ends on a Sunday. You then get an invoice for the fuel on the Monday and the money is taken from our account the following Monday so basically you could say that you have between 7 and 14 days free credit.

The pump price for diesel at the garages here is 1.429 per litre this week. Our keyfuels card is 1.328. A saving of just over 10 pence per litre this week.

My Esso Card was great on Saturday, Pump price for Esso Diesel was 139.9 and fuel card price was 137.7.

Now Pump Price is down to £1.36.9 but card price still at 137.7..Pump Price is better.

What is it with Diesel right now?...Last week it was 144.9 for esso here, now its 136.9 for esso, that's 8 pence reduction in a week!!! Crazy.
