Something you should know about the Military-Industrial Complex, Gusmac. Yes, weapons developers and contractors like Blackwater, K.B.R.-Halliburton, CACI and Titan can make fortunes out of going to war but wars cost money and this actually wipes billions of pounds off the wealth of a nation. Oh and in case you haven't notice, Britain and America are not in good financial shape, people are struggling, especially now after the Financial crisis of 2007–08 and the recession. Not even America and Britain can go to war indefinitely. And dropping bombs and firing missiles costs money and even more so boots on the ground, and therein lies the problem, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi wants to engage the west in attrition warfare.
In short, Al-Baghdadi builds his Islamic State by recruiting fighters and forcing the west to spend shed loads of cash chasing him and his band of lunatics all over the Middle East.
Al-Baghdadi isn’t planning to defeat America and coalition forces by engaging in conventional warfare, he plans to outlast the ba*tards, while spreading his spawn all over the globe.
Oh and Gus, you were perfectly correct about the CIA training and recruiting fighters for their Al-Qaeda database and proxy wars throughout the Middle East but ISIS is a monster the west has created and it’s completely out of control.
Watch this space - the minute coalition troops hit the ground, ISIS will change tactics and there will be Improvised Explosive devices (IED’s) in every building, road and dirt track in the place. You can't win a war like this.
