I am an operator who has just started buying a few cars to jockey out to drivers and have an insurance question.

I have 3 vehicles and have just bought another would could anyone recommend an insurance company who is cheap and good?

The main car I drive is an 09 Octavia which I have my own full claims discount on and wold preferably like to keep that. The other vehicles I would like to have as any driver so if one breaks down a driver can jump into another vehicle. One vehicle is an 8 seater minibus and the other two are Peugeot 406's.

Thanks.

I think you need to spend a day on the phone getting quotes.

I'm with Westminster, and they seem ok for me, but I only have to pay for one vehicle's insurance.

Try the pages of PHTM online trade newspaper, which has plenty of insurance companies & brokers advertising within. The link is;

http://www.phtm.co.uk/homepage.asp

But, ffs click on the 'Skip Intro' button as soon as the page opens, otherwise the barmy music will send you nuts!!!

There are about 30 insurance adverts in this monthly paper & you can get it in hard copy too.

There are also other trade magazines online with similar advert & info, such as Taxitalk, Taxi & a few others.

The two brokers in my area that stand out from the pack (for me anyway) are Cab-line in Cradley Heath & Insurance Choice in Leamington Spa.

Good luck.
