Do you really see Milly or Cammo winning a clear majority? no, nor me, the SNP has already said "no coalition" and the Fiberals are already packing and leaving for the coast

That leaves UKIP who may only need 10 seats to be the 3rd party.....and the power brokers

UKIP will be lucky to get 2 seats under FPTP.

Even 10 wouldn't be enough for them to hold the balance of power. Cameron would still need the liedems and probably the other bigots from Northern Ireland as well. I doubt even the liedems would work with the bigot parties and I'm not sure how Cameron's plans to make non English MPs second class will sit with the ulster orangemen. 8)

We will know soon enough, UKIP's main attraction is to worry the others

I predict a conservative/ labour "grand coalition" this will have a number of effects. It will sideline the lib dems, green, ukip, and scotwats, et al, for five years, by which time, we will all have forgotten them, and we can return to two party politics. And of course, the mere thought of that happening will be enough to give Twatskies Twin a heart attack, so a double whammy then.

This is not the first time that I have heard this scenario.

to be honest i'd be happy to get anything from my council,

renewals put in for badge in Jan and plate in Feb, both now expired and still waiting on new docs. thankfully we're allowed to carry on working as long as an application is lodged. current estimated backlog. 5 months :(

Phoned my LA yesterday with a few questions regarding putting my new car on :

Me: Once my cars pitted I can start work straight away ?
LO: Yes once its passed.
Me: Even without a plate ?
LO: Er, no you'll need to display a valid plate.
Me: So I just come and pick the plate up after its passed ?
LO: They take about 10 days to produce.
Me: So if i give you the car details now you'll make up the plate so it'll be ready by the time the pits due ?
LO: We don't make the plate until after its passed its pit test.
Me: Why not ?
LO: Because it might not pass the pit.
Me: But it's a brand new car !!
LO: Yeah, but it doesn't mean it'll pass !
Me: So I might not be able to work until ten days after I pass the pit test ?
LO: Not neccessarily, if you come down after the pit we should be able to knock one up in a few minutes if you wait.
Me: So it doesn't take ten days ?
LO: Sometimes, we always say allow ten days.
Me: So will you be able to do it straight away, or will it take 'up to ten days' ?
LO: Err, dunno.

#-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

A few minutes later I get a call back ;

LO: Had a word with the boss and he says just use your old plate until you get the new one.
Me: But that relates to a different vehicle !!
LO: Yeah, it's just to show the public that it's a licensed vehicle - as long as we know it's been pitted and licensed you'll have no problems.

 #-o  #-o  #-o
