And this is very intriguing. Either they had a very high hit rate, or they tested hundreds of cars. And even with a very high hit rate they must have looked at at least a couple of hundred cars? Don't want to doubt the cited figures, but it would be interesting to know the details
And, of course, the problem with this is that, even assuming the figures are correct, nothing to say where the cars were plated, whether they're local cars, or on Wolves plates, or Sefton or Knowsley, which obviously have a lot of cross-border cars working in that neck of the woods.
