Garry - you're the only one who's ever heard of this mythical 50 grand plate value, and you your marginalised wee pal jasbar has repeated it endlessly.
Don’t you read the papers TC the whole of Edinburgh knows about the 50 grand false plate “values”

Who says all deals have to go through ITS Once you take off their cut, and you get a fast cash sale (something to do with tax men, divorcing wives, and getting caught baw deep) 32grand can't be far off the mark. That 50 grand you keep quoting - you never got the figure from Forth St did you Let's look at in who's interest it is to talk up plate values
Fair point TC but I know for a fact the guy I was driving for got 46K in total a few months back and that deal was done out-with Forth St. Forth St told us what we could expect to pay and that was in the region of 50K “at least” a couple of weeks later surprise, surprise word was out one went for 50K.

Canonmills did fine as a talking shop for years for you - you were head blaw along there
No I just went in to insult the natives as a source of amusement when I was bored, there’s no real point in trying to have a serious debate with that lot you included.

Remind us Mr T - who wrote into the "papers" and gave them the 50K plate value
Oh aye - that would be you
Little Jimmy then repeated it
Don't I read the papers

, well in common with more than 85% of Edinburgh residents I don't bother to buy it, never mind get round to reading it

Just cos it's in the local rag doesn't make it true.
And as for the taxi survey, what a pathetic piece of journalism that was - what's next in this series of incite-full journalistic pieces, questions like - Alcoholics - should blue plastic bottles of cider cost less? Cigarette smokers - are fags too dear? Turkeys - are you in favour of Christmas?
