Garry - you're the only one who's ever heard of this mythical 50 grand plate value, and you your marginalised wee pal jasbar has repeated it endlessly.

Don’t you read the papers TC the whole of Edinburgh knows about the 50 grand false plate “values”

That 50 grand you keep quoting - you never got the figure from Forth St did you Let's look at in who's interest it is to talk up plate values

Fair point TC but I know for a fact the guy I was driving for got 46K in total a few months back and that deal was done out-with Forth St. Forth St told us what we could expect to pay and that was in the region of 50K “at least” a couple of weeks later surprise, surprise word was out one went for 50K.

No I just went in to insult the natives as a source of amusement when I was bored, there’s no real point in trying to have a serious debate with that lot you included.

Remind us Mr T - who wrote into the "papers" and gave them the 50K plate value :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Oh aye - that would be you

Little Jimmy then repeated it

Don't I read the papers   , well in common with more than 85% of Edinburgh residents I don't bother to buy it, never mind get round to reading it           Just cos it's in the local rag doesn't make it true.

And as for the taxi survey, what a pathetic piece of journalism that was - what's next in this series of incite-full journalistic pieces, questions like - Alcoholics - should blue plastic bottles of cider cost less? Cigarette smokers - are fags too dear? Turkeys - are you in favour of Christmas?

Well why not write to the press and tell them the “value” is £32K after hearing it in the brain-dead’s garage see if it goes to print or phone up Forth St and tell them plates are only 32K and not 50K I am sure they will be happy to hear for you.

A rod for the trades own back me thinks.   I wonder how long before the price goes beyond 60K

46k in total so that would be around 16k for the "03" TX2 leaving £30k for the plate. So WTF are you shouting about? Bawheid!

As I explained before Donny wanted 40K for the plate and the finance paid off on the taxi. You could have bought the same taxi separately for about 6 grand less so this guy paid 40k plus 21K just to get the deal, 6K over the odds.

Nice to see you back RCF

Nice to see you back RCF

I know you don't mean that last bit :P :P :P

So now you're saying he got 61k not 46k - you're starting to sound like Marky boy. He had a problem on the Dragon's show with the difference between income and profit too. 8) 8) 8)
Now I know how you keep making mistakes with plate values, licence numbers and driver numbers - you must be innumerate as well as illiterate

No I think if you check back the post you will see I've been consistent throughout, I mean lets face it how could anyone pull the wool over your eyes RCF

BTW why are you getting bent out of shape, 50K plate "values" and you're not happy?

Some people are very strange :?

Nothing like RCF to drag debate down again. Wheeling him in just about shows how worried you guys are getting.

What amazes me is why you even bother.

Rather than bleat about plate prices, whether they are £50K or not, why don't you concern yourself with what is really important, i.e. the quality of the quality controls which will be imperative on de-restriction?

Only the servile can cast off their own chains.

Eh, so how did TM know I'd been signed by NASA to oversee the new taxi rank at the space station?

We've known for years that you live in your own world, so don't blame NASA, they've got enough problems without you!!

 Gosh, I bet you had to dig deep in your inane brain for that gem.

I bet you even think you're funny.

Keep thinking it. Remember to guffaw with hilarious laughter as they're tightening the straps.

I reckon you'd look very fetching in white. And I can't wait till you're "fetched".
