Take the bolts/screws of inner panel /wheel arch, take bolts of front bracket that fixes to bumper iron. Then remove the bolts from wing channel and it will pull of (sorry unplug light and indicator !)Its probally going to be stuck with some silicon aswell ,so i usually scrape that off and resilicone it when replacing.
Hi,
I've removed the two bolts on the inner wing (connected to the bumper), two bolts from the front (under the headlight ) and three bolts along the top of the wings. There is a fourth bolt at the top of the wings near the water drain...... I presume taking the dust cover of the inner wheel arch will grant access to this? and that there are bolts attaching the outer wing to the body shell, are these also behind the dust cover?
I have checked the ignition and there is power there but no power is getting to the starter motor......does anyone know the layout of the wiring for the ignition to starter? does it go via an inhibitor on the gearbox? The large red wire is connected from the battery to the starter and has no breaks/corrosion etc however testing the smaller wire connected to the top of the starter shows no power so I am assuming the fault is in the wiring from the ignition to the starter?
I checked my donor car but the wiring loom appears to be different so no comparison there...... Am trying to follow the workshop manual wiring diagram but its all a bit gobbledegook at the moment....

Does anyone know what this is for? and what the 12v 30a relay is? (pic above), obviously the more loose ends I can eliminate, the better I can trace everything......
There are these two connectors also......
