 Post subject: fairway servo ?

On the dash on my fairway the red light on the right has started flickering .It is the one with the exclamation mark in a circle it comes on when the handbrake is applied.is this the servo?Any help thanks

The warning light comes on when you apply your handbrake... when your brake fluid is low... and on the T X one it is also connected to your alternator.... which is a thin pipe that goes from the back of the alternator to a vacuum controled switch..... the idea is that if your fan belt breaks and stops the alternator the warning light goes on..... that particular pipe has a habit of breaking... I cannot remember if it's the same on the fairway... but as it is the same alternator on both I would check......

thanks ill check that ,its not the fluid level ,they are the same as tx1 so ill give it a go
