The warning light comes on when you apply your handbrake... when your brake fluid is low... and on the T X one it is also connected to your alternator.... which is a thin pipe that goes from the back of the alternator to a vacuum controled switch..... the idea is that if your fan belt breaks and stops the alternator the warning light goes on..... that particular pipe has a habit of breaking... I cannot remember if it's the same on the fairway... but as it is the same alternator on both I would check......
