Word I hear says that Tradex have purchased Westminster.

Will seriously affect competition in London I guess.Hope Westminster's service doesn't sink to Tradex's standards.

Wasn't Westminster Taken over by a South African outfit in 2003?

Taxi drivers throughout the UK should investigate forming their own insurance company with a business model where each policy holder secures one share for each year a policy is renewed. TV licenses should have the same system whereby every time you buy an annual license it counts as one share.

Westminster were.

And after a record of never making a loss they then lost a large wedge last year.

Taxi Driver online has been in touch with the Tradex management who informed us that Tradex has bought Westminster insurance which becomes effective from as far as I can recall next week. However Tradex has been conducting Westminster's business portfolio since January 2008.

Tradex management informed TDO that there are no plans to axe any of the local agencies set up by Westminster and they are hopeful that the new agency contracts will be an improvement on previous contracts which existed under Westminster.

Perhaps taxi driver online should become the first interactive insurance agent where customers can talk in real time with the agents? lol

I don't know a thing about Tradex, but Westminster are a big insurer in my manor, and happen to be quite cheap for certain policies.

However if they suddenly stopped being cheap, then there are plenty others who would like my hard earned cash.
