I see Mr Cummins and Mr Millward have finally come around to our way of thinking, that taxi licensing should be "divested" from the hands of brain dead councillors. For how many years have some of us been preaching that particular gospel? I wonder when these two finally saw the light?

Is it a case of, "better late, than never".

All we need now is for Cummins & Millward to see the light in respect of this meeting of minds fiasco then their conversion to sanity will be partially complete.

The two D's are living testimony that TDO has a way of healing the blind.

Regards

JD

I am sure that everybody has their own ultimate goal, and some people like to keep their cards close to their chests, otherwise you might end up with a new Taxi act written by licensing officers, that benefit only licensing officers....

I'm quite sure an element of the MoM would love it if that were the case.
