If he had thought about it, he could have coped the lot, just by handing it into the police and saying i dont know who it belongs to, he would have been handed it back after 3 months I think thats what the time scale is
or even received 10% if it was claimed

Thats not the point though it is not about whats in it for you it is about doing the RIGHT thing

I was not on about being dishonest, that bag could have belonged to anyone, so by doing the right thing by handing it into the police and saying I dont know who it belongs to would be a truthful even though slightly exaggerated statement

Tell it how it really is. The guy wanted to pocket the money. His bottle went. He then decided to opt for the reward - fingers crossed.

Luckily none of you think like the guy above ... now of course you don't ....
