Bill here and it's been a dire week i still earn enough to pay the bills but the extra money is really down. Thanx scot for your replies and i do take on board what you are saying bout the walter mitty working douglas i think i've chatted to him also i know it's rumours but i think this is only the beginning of a hard living now. I already work all the hours i can if i do any more it will be divorce for me catch 22 if you work a lot more hours you reap the benifits but lose in the bedroom departtment and the wife will be none to happy. I will be living in hope that things get back to a little of what we had before the council threw open the town. :(

No way Bill,or no way Hosie, all will be in dire straits for at least a year.
Remember, the seven week holiday for the schools in the Summer, you think this two week school holiday period has been bad.
Suggestions.

1.
Regarding the bedroom situation,it will be alright, tell the missus, that both of you should become celibate.
2.
Work the extra hours, but not on the taxis, become a male giggolo.
3.
Have a wee stall in the centre of the town, selling 1/2 price or second hand,
durex, stale sandwiches or out of date calenders.
4.
Put your head in a bucket, and hope everything will be alright.
5.
Take your vehicle down to 203020,and make loadsa dosh.
6.
Get a job driving busses and drive part-time.

But lets be fair, things can only get better, can only get better,so they say.
Last part you have to sing.

Anyway, must get back to Liff Hospital as my time is up.
PS by the way I used to be a taxi driver, but feel better since I was forced to give it up.
Yours,
Napoleon Bonapart,
c/o Liff Hospital,
Physiciatric Ward 13.

First ever posting on the 'Dundee debacle'.

Well that is a surprise Bill, money down over the Easter Holiday period.

Do you know what, unless you are in Brighton, Bournemouth or Blackpool I expect 99% of the trade notice a downturn in work during this time.

That is life.

I agree with Tom. Most easters are nothing to write home about.

Bit like Xmas eve, everyone reckons to take bundles, but seldom do.

Rubbish,we are not going down the tubes, regarding older drivers, more experience of life, better drivers and more polite, and loadsa money.
All you people buying the wavs, just to get a plate, should drive for us,our money is not down, ask the lads, they will tell you, plenty of work,so loadsa money.
Best office in the town, busiest office in the town,so,loadsa money.

Dave, pal.
