Is this ground hog day?

It seems like you posted the same message a few weeks ago. I get the impression you would like people to visit your site but I'm also wondering whether you get a financial remuneration every time someone makes a page impression.

Is your site worth visiting and why?

Regards

JD

Mr. JD

Thank you for your response and also to your help for increasing my website visitor’s counter number. First, I like to mention I am not good in the command of English which may create misunderstanding for the reply and for the followings which I am going to write. I hope those do not understand my writing can respond, and then I will reply again to clarify my meaning.

Currently, I am a part-time accounting staff and part-time cabby. I have my primary school in the Chinese stream. If I have a good command of English, I will have a good post now with high salary in Singapore, and I will not have to driving taxi part-time now to make some extra money to support my family. At present, I do not have any salary for having my website. In fact, I am losing money because you know If I spend my all other time on driving taxi instead of wasting time on the matter of maintenance on my website, I will have generated more income.

If you can really go to my website  www.cabby.com.sg and spend some time on every page, then you will know I am providing FREE to the cabbies as well as the passengers, etc. Because I mentioned FREE on many pages of my website. I do it because I have not choice, If I charge them a free, I will not have many responses to my website now.

I spend a lot of effort to bring my website counter hitting 19,732 now. If you like to know how, I will reply you next time. But first, I like to mention that I do not purposely make the number higher by myself which I believe it is a way of cheating myself as well as others. I want to have the number getting bigger and bigger, so the only mean is that I have to work harder in order to achieve it (and that is also why I am writing here).

I started my website around last year June 2007. I find it I have not received much reward from having the website now. Because at the beginning, I have received many “Thank you” messages from the relief drivers or hirers of TAXI who want me to put their requests to help find their co-driver in my website. But now I seldom receive such messages of “THANK YOU” from them. And also I find my website visitor counter number is not increasing so fast compared to other funny websites in the world.

I do not know how your TAXI operation here, In Singapore, 95% of qualified taxi drivers who want to drive the taxi can only rent the taxi from the 6 taxi companies. The taxi companies will rent it to only one person. He is called hirer (with the daily rental of around $95). The hirer can find someone to help him. That someone is called relief drivers. The relief drivers will pay the hirer some amount depend on their agreement like to the hours given by the hirer to the relief drivers. In this way, the hirer will find it worthwhile to have the relief to help them (to share the burden of the rental). But some hirer prefer one person occupy the taxi for whole day for whole year. They do not like to find relief drivers to help them can have many reasons. How about your country, any difference?

Thank you again for your support and for spending time reading the above. (I hope now I can achieve 20,000 within few days through the help of your website).

Regards

Onecabby

Hi Mr Onecabby from Singapore,

I have been on your website & am wondering what kind of cab company you operate.

On your first page, you give much prominence to ‘Relief Drivers’ & when I clicked on ‘relief drivers’, there came up a huge list of drivers, many of them in the ‘Relief’ category. In fact at the top of the page it stated, ‘Hirers looking for relief drivers’.

Could you please explain; what, exactly are relief drivers? What kind of relief do these ‘relief drivers’ give & to whom? Are these relief drivers male, female or of both genders?

Looking further into your website, I notice that some of these ‘relief drivers’ give relief for varying numbers of hours, at all times & throughout the week.

And it appears that there are a few of these ‘relief drivers’ that don’t like Comfort (which I presume is the name of a cab company). Why don’t these ‘relief drivers’ like giving relief in Comfort, or should I say to Comfort?

Oh, just one last thing. One of your email addresses is patrick@cabby.com.sg. Is he from the Emerald Isle?

It’s probably all lost in the translation!
