good point....regardless of a persons religious beliefs..if they are unfit to drive through self imposed starvation they should not be driving at all. may well be this one needs looking into here. still the LA's officials wouldnt have the balls to let Religious PC be sacrificed for that of passenger safety. theyed find it easier explaining away an avoidable death as try and face down some overly Zealous religious leader.

Not a problem that I am likely to face. By that I mean I have never been known to miss a meal yet. :wink:

The problem is extremely acute when Ramadan falls in the summer, especially near the summer solstice.

Can you imagine going without food or drink for 30 days non-stop during the hours of approximately 05.00hrs & 22.00hrs?

There is much less of a problem when Ramadan falls in the winter, as there are only about seven hours of abstinence or there about.

Midsummer up here we have 21-22 hours of daylight. :shock:
