JD ............... will a re-write of the law lead to other publications advising councils how to interpret it.

I think that its absolutely certian that any new authorities specifically for taxi licensing will be staffed and ran by the same people doing it now through local councils .................... I fail therefore to understand the signifigance of change.

Maybe your identity is the reason you wish these changes ............. maybe we already know half of it.

Good luck with the revised book.

Well, for what it's worth. I filled my questionnaire in and emailed it to IoL at 22.40hrs last night, just 1 hour & 20 minutes before the deadline ran out.

It started with 15 pages & by the time I had finished it was 19 pages.

Lol

so I for one will not be Participating in filling it in just to hasten my own PH demise.

I don't see how it is the demise of the PH it gives more choice of working practice. People will still want to pre-book taxis. Nobody says you have to be flagged from the road it's a matter of personal choice. The only demise of the PH driver is the ability of the Hacks to work PH systems but PH can't work theirs.
