I have hear on the 'Grapevine' that applicants for jobs as Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing and Enforcement Officers, will shortly have to successfully complete a 'kind of NVQ style test' themselves to be accepted for an interview & subsequent consideration for these very important positions in our Local Authorities.

A copy of a sample test paper is on this link;
