Big Man,look at the posting Brains R Us,this would alleviate the seat problem, with one fair swoop.
I know the money that you and others have invested, but try and keep calm, and work this out with Cab Direct, remember ALL businesses go through tough times, whether your fault or someone elses, its the ones that get their heads down and works through the problems, the others SINK.

Big Man,do not know about the floor, but if the same as the old Euro 7
they had a covering of polish or seal, what you had to do was scour with Ajax or similar.Maybe this may help,if this is your problem.

I think we have to give Cab-Direct 10 out of 10 if they did ring all those in Dundee. :D

If LTI did the same to all the drivers with dodgy TXs, then they would have to open a call center in India to cope.

I have now left both my name and my phone number on this site for anyone who has a problem to contact me.

No one has been in contact with me.

Obviously we can only help those customers who let us know that they have a problem. I would therefore urge those customers who have a problem to either phone us at Cab Direct or leave their name on the forum and we will contact you.

This morning we have phoned every one of our customers in the Dundee area to ascertain any existing issues that they may have. In the main there are very little problems and the small number of issues that did arise will be dealt with early next week.

We do pride ourselves on the level of after care we provide and you can be rest assured that we are working hard to fix any outstanding issues that there may be.

Sales Director

Well then the drivers wont buy them.

Would London drivers rather they chose what they could run, or someone from the PCO?

Well done Cab Direct, I was there today and you attended to me right away, sorted my small problem of a seat squeek. The e7 is a brilliant vehicle only a couple of wingers have caused all the hastle, they wold do the same if they bought a rolls royce taxi. Come guys get real, I have always had the best in after service from Arthur or Alec. I have been to LTI and no thanks been there bought the tee shirts and all that never again. No other dealer would have taken the time to do what they have done that alone speaks volumes for cab direct and the after sales team
keep up the good work.

What a company, within a day of realising the extent of the problem in Dundee, Cab Direct went into action.Phone calls were made to Eurobus and E7 owners asking what problems we had and that they would rectify the problems True to their word, Monday morning the aftersales team arrived along with Arthur and Alex at their approved dealer Annefield Rd Motors. I was met by Mark (Production Manager) who went over my vehicle listing the faults. It was agreed along with Arthur that the vehicle
needed to go to Glasgow for repairs Two days later my vehicle was delivered back to my home (full tank of diesel) and all faults rectified to a very high standard. I would like to thank all at Cab Direct for their excellent after care service and no doubt, more praise will come from the Dundee Eurobus and E7 owners. My only hope is that the local Peugeot dealer would follow your standard of service. K.K.

The problems clearly shouldn't have happened in the first place, but give them their due for sorting it.

a full tank of deisel is a good deal the garage i use regulary has put up the price by two pence a litre in four days, quite a few dundee cabbies are praising cab direct but ill wait a couple of months to see if the repairs hold then make comment, the cheapest desel in dundee at the moment is 79.9 ,which is frightening to us but i do travel out of dundee a lot and know it is probably the cheapest ...
